Worst Present??

DH's uncle gave us a Mickey Mouse (boys) outfit for our 3mo DD. MIL gave us a set of boys dungarees for same DD...

I don't think you can win worst prize awards for that. I put my dds in boys clothes often as they are less hideous sometimes. My dd would rather have a crocodile on her t-shirt that a ballerina.

I'd have to nominate the crotch rotting nylon lace trimmed pants (in red/black) that my MIL used to send me years ago.

Thankfully now she doesn't send me anything.

Still processing why my mother gave me oven gloves this year. My sister gave me a jug. That makes three years in a row.The adage 'its the thought that counts' has got me thinking. Also pissed off that ,my mum raided my dd's wish list but rather than buying the chemistry set that she had been after for months managed to get her a soap making set, so managed to both steal ut thunder and chuck in a damp squib.

SIL gave me mouthwash with lovely shower gel and shampoo :) but why mouthwash?!?

Ds1 (age 14 in 6 weeks) received a tshirt which was age 10. Before he even opened it, we were told it won't fit him so put it on eBay and give him the money for it :o

my SIL's outpassed themselves this year. SIL1 presented me with a 1970s original icebowl set complete in aged packaging and SIL2 - a coloured vodka shot glass set, again had already been opened (packaging damaged) and when I got home checked inside and the glasses have water stains on them ....
