Good --Riddance-- Bye to The Elf on the Shelf

DS (5) gave his a beautiful kiss and cuddle because it was the last night. I was a bit worried because he is autistic and generally either becomes very attached to things or not at all. His response was really lovely

I've said before about DH being quite scathing about it but he has come up with some great ideas. DS has a Kindle Fire for Christmas and he is going to upload the photographs I took each night and at some point Photoshop the Elf on a beach somewhere having a nice rest and send it to DS.

How did your farewell go?

My DC kept up with the advent tree (it's got little decorations to hang on a lovely little tree -plays music when it's turned on it's base)

Poor Sheldon got abandoned at the side of the microwave half way through December

A sweet but sad goodbye. Just updated the blog with the penultimate entry. Got one more thing to add tomorrow, but too busy now.

I've just printed this off and added a message in my now fluent Elf script (red pen, mixed lower and uppercase)
