The fridge Is broken!!!

Dp is at asda and m&s as I type buying the Xmas shop AGAIN!!! I want to cry. Called the letting agents can't get an engineer out until after new year! So now we are keeping it all it cool boxes packed with Ice in the outside loo, I've had enough! X

HUGE SYMPATHY. our fridge-freezer broke a couple of weeks ago, just before a party we were due to have, so it was heaving. i feel for you.

This happened to me once. I found the fridge acted like a cool box. We bought loads of ice from our local off licence, kept it in the bags and ffilled the salad drawer at the bottom and put a baking tray of ice in the middle. The ice lasted approx 36 hrs before we would have to replace. And it kept food chilled, though we used perishables quickly to be on the safe side. It also chills a few bottles of fizz which will help.

Another that this has happened to (more that once).

We found that defrosting it, leaving it for a few hours then turning it back on again fixed it.

Loads of fridge and freezer food, batch cooking etc thrown out.

Have you tried changing the fuse in the plug? That's always the first thing DH does!
