Hi have just taken my pastry out of freezer to defrost then realised I don't know if I can bake with it then refreeze the baking!
Is it ok to refreeze cooked pastry that has been defrosted when raw?
Thanks for advice can you tell I don't really bake much Blush

I do it. It's not as if there are particular bacteria you need to worry about.

Have fun!

Yes, just as it would be fine to freeze a casserole you'd cooked with defrosted raw chicken.

Yes definitely ok to defrost raw meat, cook thoroughly then freeze the cooked dish for later. A maximum of twice, once raw, once cooked.
