Why does BIL say this to DP when he knows we don't have children?

Pretend play stuff - cash till, doctors kit, cookery set, anything bag like, toy cars, play mobile figures or similar. And books! Your local book store should be able to give advice, she's probably starting towards stories with a few sentences per page. Percy the Park keeper is a recent hit with my DD.

Oh, also Orchard Toys v good and will last a while as she gradually gets the hang of playing games. Not too expensive as well.

Southern DS is 4 and asks to play the PP every day.

YY to craft stuff - dress up clothes - princess outfits, toy necklaces etc.

Bags - not necessarily handbags, but things they can use for playgroup, swimming etc

Any book by Julia Donaldson for a younger 3

My brother buys sledges at that age - they are about £10 at the moment. He can trot the same present out for every neice and nephew.

You can't go wrong with books. Mine love lift the flap books so they feel involved, or touch and feel books.

Thanks for the tips _ think we are going to go into Toys R Us and find the biggest loudest peppa-est pig-est thing we can find.

(and batteries, mustn't forget the batteries)
