DVD's for 4 year old.

What DVD's would you reccomend for a 4 year old boy?

DS is 5 and for the last year or so has loved:

Ice Age
Cars
Madagascar
Walking with Dinosaurs
Toy Story
Wallace and Grommit

DS, 5 (and DD, 3) love a character called Lars the polar bear.
There was a BBC world series, 10 min or so programmes, but they've recently had more modern films made too, based on the originals. They're such gorgeous stories!

Sauvb, DD1 (7) and DD2 (5) watched Der Kleine Eisbaer yesterday (DH is German). DD2 just about held it together until the end before bursting into tears and declaring "it's okay, it's a happy ending!". If she had seen it a year ago, she would have been in floods the whole way through, I think. Mind you, she cried thr whole way through Bolt last Christmas, so I think she's just a bit, er, sensitive!

DS is four and loves:

Any Thomas the tank engine movie dvd's
The Madagascar films
The Gruffalo

He's currently watching Polar Express which is popular at this time of year!

Finding Nemo is great! Any of the Pixar films although not monsters inc as I feel it's a little scary in places depending on your little one. There was a Thomas the tank engine film called Thomas and the magic railroad also Santa paws the movie, the first one Santa paws 2 is awful

The "Land before time" films are good for little ones (the 1st one is the best).

My two still occasionally watch The Land Before Time films, and they are 10 & 7 now. The box set was probably the best money I've ever spent!

Any Pixar film goes down well here, or the new Nick Park film Pirates an Adventure withScientists.

Curious George is lovely

Our most recent addition is the Lorax. Six days in a row! Brilliant songs. Have got my DD the book too.

Also recommend despicable me.

Toy Story 1 2 3 is £11.50 on Amazon.

Shrek 1 2 3 4 and christmas movie £13.50 on play.

My ds loves Beauty & the Beast and Pinocchio.

As well as Toy Story ones.

DS3 loves the Land Before Time series.
