you've ever had!

Recipes here please Grin. It would be really great if they were freeze in advance ones. I made one last year with vodka and cranberries - possibly a Heston B one. Everyone hated it. I'm hoping to do better this year.

Don't know if this would freeze, but it reheats splendidly in a microwave.
Grate 6 slices of nearly stale white bread into a bowl with a tightly-fitting lid. Add a handful of porridge oats, half a block of butter chopped into pieces, half a very finely chopped onion and a pinch of cream of tartar.
Steam over a pot of boiling water for ages and ages, appros 2 hours until moist and soft.
This is a very old-fashioned recipe for (scottish) oatmeal stuffing which is very popular with everyone I've ever served it too.
It does have a softer texture than sausagemeat stuffing and has no herbs, so possibly not what you're after - but we love it in the choco household.

Thanks. My Step mother is Scottish so may be a nice compliment to her.

I've never used a specific recipe so you might be advised to google 'Oatmeal Stuffing'.
