Should I re-think this gift?

I got a bit carried away with getting bargains on Amazin Black Friday and bought DBro's girlfriend casserole/braising tongs. I don't know her very well but apparently she likes cooking and I didn't want to get her something too generic. She is absolutely lovely and would accept a roll of bin bags with good grace but should I get her something else?

I really want some tongs, Jamie Oliver makes them look so useful!

Tongs are fantastically useful but you can buy very good ones for a couple of quid no need to spend £££s. Try Nisbets.

snowkey not sure if that comment was for my benefit but I will have a look there anyway. I get tong envy everytime I watch15 min meals.

Maybe something like this? - if she likes chocolate, that is. Or there are others here if you don't like that one - that makes me one up on your brother for ideas then!
