VTech InnoTab 2 v LeapFrog LeapPad 2

Trying to work out which would be best for ds2 aged 6 with Down's Syndrome.

Any suggestions?

I'm leaning towards the VTech as we already have a few things in the range which I found to be well made and good quality. We have the kiddi-zoom camera which is compatable with the tablet.

Can any one help?

TIA

We have bought the Innotab, I can't remember why though Blush. At some point I sat down and read lots of reviews and compared them both, I went for the Innotab but have no idea why now! So sorry, I know that is of no use really!

Thanks!

I've read and read and read and still can't make up my mind.

Did you buy for Christmas or is your child using it?

Bought it for Christmas, but DH has had lots of play on it Blush and has installed some software from vtech website and used the DivX converter software to put a load of movies on so we can use it as a movie player on the long drive to family on Boxing day. He was quite impressed with it. The screen is nothing like a grown up tablet, so if DD was a few years older I'd get her a cheap proper one but I think at nearly 4 its perfect for her. It seems to be well built and looks like it would be indestructible.

Belated thanks for the posts!

I went with the Innotab as it was compatible with the Kiddizoom.

Thanks again.
