I've just managed to book a delivery for the 22nd.

Just a heads up for anyone else without delivery saver!

Much relief all round Grin

Thanks for that
Have just done the same.
Really wanted a slot for 23rd, but was worried I would miss the date when it was released. 22nd is fine & then I will buy a small amount of fresh stuff from the local shop on 23/24th

OohMrDarcy · 02/12/2012 08:06

I've just booked Sainsburys for 23rd :)

HECTheHallsWithRowsAndFolly · 02/12/2012 08:07

Yes, I've got mine.

I'm surprised there's been so many slots this year. Normally it's a struggle.

ObiTheChristmasWan · 02/12/2012 09:35

Wow - just been back on to the Tesco site, and all of the delivery slots for the 22nd are gone.

Every single time slot was available when I booked mine this morning. There must have been a rush.

Anyone wanting the 23rd will probably have to stay up late tonight Xmas Grin

Chicky I have had my slot booked all week then just log in first thing each day and change my slot to following day (have had 19,20,21 and now 22nd) going to try to change again in morning for 23rd if not am happy with 22nd you could always try same Wink

everydayaschoolday · 02/12/2012 10:24

23rd is a Sunday, so I'm not sure that they'll have a fresh produce warehouse delivery to store that day anyway. I had the choice of the 23rd and still booked for sat 22nd. I might go to the local co-op on 24th if there's anything I need super fresh. So don't dismay if you don't get a 23rd slot.

chickydoo · 03/12/2012 09:46

Have just booked a 9.00am slot on 23rd
Yippie!!!!
Then will just need a few fresh bits from local shop on 24th

BeaWheesht · 03/12/2012 10:32

Right I'm slightly embarrassed to admit I've never done an online grocery shop before. I've so far booked a delivery slot for the 23rd and have added some things to trolley but I won't be sure what I want until nearer the time - can I change it??? Also do I pay now? My slot is reserved until noon so before that?

Help please!

BahSaidPaschaHumbug · 03/12/2012 10:34

You can add as you go right up to the night before delivery. They won't take any money until the order has been picked, as prices change.

TerraNotSoFirma · 03/12/2012 10:35

Bea checkout your shopping, you won't be charged.
Then you can amend it nearer the time, I think you have until the day before delivery.

BeaWheesht · 03/12/2012 10:37

Brilliant thanks!

BeaWheesht · 03/12/2012 11:17

So I put payment details in but they don't charge?

BahSaidPaschaHumbug · 03/12/2012 11:21

Yes. No money is taken until the order is picked in case items are not available or need to be substituted.

BeaWheesht · 03/12/2012 11:39

Thanks

sammysaidso · 03/12/2012 16:06

How do I find out what slots I've booked? I've got one for the 22nd but when I try to look on the tescos website I can't find out what time I booked it for.

TerraNotSoFirma · 03/12/2012 16:14

If you click on 'my orders' it will tell you. Top right hand corner of homepage,mi think.

iMe · 03/12/2012 16:24

Mine booked for 22nd.....not much choice left by the time I got to it, even with Delivery Saver.

PoppyT · 04/12/2012 18:42

I've done my tesco online Christmas shop & have added a turkey crown. On the tesco front page it says turkeys to be ordered online by 14th December. Does anyone know if adding it to my basket means I've ordered it?
Thanks
