Gift for reception year teacher

So DS1 started school this year and I've discovered the delights of what to buy for his teacher!
What do you buy? I'm wracking my brains and very stumped ... would it be really bad to buy choc or biscuits or smellies or wine? Did consider the Oxfam unwrapped.

Last year a couple of mums organised some JL vouchers - all the mums were asked if they wanted to contribute a set amount or buy their own present.

I'm organising our class presents this year and have gone for Molton Brown hand stuff.
