Half price large lego boxes at Argos

Trip back for me too - what a faff!

Firstly thanks for the tip off - got two boxes. However sent DP for them so no base plates - do I go back or not???

I bought a blue and a pink box, no base plates in stock but I have just ordered some separately from the lego website. Loads of different sizes available too.

Update - went back to Argos and they gave me the base plate that I should have got with no problem! She told me that its probably as I paid on the quickpay machine rather than at a till that I didn't get it.

If any of you even work in Argos then you would know the difficulties of dealing with costumers like the people on here. If an item is out of stock that is not the employee's personal fault and their is no need to take it out on them as i have been subjected to! It's christmas time and a popular toy. We can't always get are own way!

I picked up my lego box yesterday, no base plate but it says on receipt to collect within 2 months. The code is 909/5889, it's not even on the website though. Don't hold out much hope in getting it but the box was a bargin.
