help! Singing thing for PS3

Does anyone have any experience of these karioke (sp???) games for PS3?
DD is 9 - into usual crap pop...what would you recommend?

Singstar is good. You can just download songs you want from the catelogue.

Oh I see - thank you. There seems to be lots of options, is there one you'd reccomend? Also - do you have to pay each time you download one?
