on amazon now, which means it will probably be a real bargain in the black friday deals yesterday but if you cant wait or dont want to risk it, a bargain?

but what is the difference bwn kindle fire and kindle fire hd??

They are also £99 in PC world but with cash back if you buy any case (cheapest) £5 so brings them down to £89.

With the kindle fire you can only get apps from the Amazon app store which at the moment is limited. At £99 I had considered getting one for my oldest dd so she would leave my nexus alone! 8G is small so I am nor going too.

So kindle fire hd you can get different apps?

How do you put on music and films etc? Do you have to download all of it via Amazon?

(Have just ordered one for DH's Christmas present, not sure I'm going to keep it, but didn't want to miss the £99 wonderfulness of it!)

If you have the content on your computer you should be able to transfer it to your Fire. Or you can buy it from the Amazon app store.

amarylisnightandday - the content in the Amazon app store is pretty much the same for the HD and non HD version although some content will probably be availble in both HD and non HD.

Just bought one for dd1! She's been asking for an ipod nano, so I hope she'll be happy with this instead!
