Digital Photo Frames - thoughts please

Hi

Stumped for MIL. In desperation thinking of getting her a digital photo frame downloading lots of grandchild & her DS photos to it................. if you have one are they really worth moret han an initial look & are there any battery type ones so she doesn't need to have it near a socket.

All other ideas gratefully received .

I'm doing this this year for Mil. Getting two memory cards/memory sticks so that I can bring through new photos of holidays etc (no chance she would do it, technophobe). I think they use too much juice to be battery operated, never seen one. I got mine from Currys for about £30.
