Xmas song with "three shepherds" on lyrics?

My 3yo dd is learning Xmas songs at preschool and has gone to bed singing one I really don't recognise.
She sounds like she's saying "three shepherds" or maybe "three little shepherds" and something about kings. Definitely not we three kings.
Any ideas what the song could be?

Would it be this?

Nothing about kings there though...

can you ask the teacher what they've been learning?
I could help more if I heard the tune, for now I'm guessing "While shepherds watched their flocks"

I'm pretty sure it's not 'while shepherds watched their flocks', I think it will be something very simple.

I will definitely ask at preschool, but she won't be there til Monday now, so hoped it might ring a bell with someone! Thank you for your suggestions

oh I thought it could be one shepherd, 2 shepherds, 3 shepherds to the tune of 10 little indians?

if it bugs you so much call them up tomorrow! say you want to help him to learn the words properly, but don't know what the blinking song could be. expect giggling!

Her singing might have given me some more clues by then anyway!

When my daughter was in preschool they learned Christmas songs which were based on nursery rhymes they already knew. So it might be a version of something like 3 Little Men in a Flying Saucer.

Google tells me that there is a nativity play suitable for preschoolers which has a song which starts "Three little shepherds watching their sheep/ Three little shepherds watching their sheep/ One went to Bethlehem to see baby Jesus asleep".
