Morning fellow Black Friday Bargain Finders!

What are we looking at today?

OP posts:
TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 20/11/2012 12:11

I think i need a vibrating bath pillow.

Git DH his train book.

WhispersOfWickedness · 20/11/2012 12:12

Hmm, now I'm not sure... I really shouldn't read the bad reviews, 3 very bad reviews vs 80 brilliant reviews Confused

Arithmeticulous · 20/11/2012 12:18

Do I need an Anglepoise lamp? Confused

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 20/11/2012 12:18

I don't need a £15 bath pillow.

I don't need the boots but I reallyreallyreallyreally want them. Might have a nap and not watch them.

DH thinks we should get the piella pan for DD1. Poor child. What an exciting present to unwrap.

DorisIsWaiting · 20/11/2012 12:19

Yay! I got the silver anglepoise I wanted !!!

I've also bought a wall bracket for £16 so it can be wall mounted. Now very happy that we will have a reading light in the lounge

mignonette · 20/11/2012 12:20

Yes let's all boost the profits of tax dodgers. If we all bought something using supersaver free delivery from Amazon itself then returned it unopened with

"Sending back in protest at your immoral tax practices" they'd have to re-think their arrangements. Because it'd start costing them.

SlightlySuperiorPeasant · 20/11/2012 12:22

We had the tax-dodging discussion yesterday.

mignonette · 20/11/2012 12:24

Well I am having it today because I am not on MN everyday and cannot monitor every thread. If we applied that logic, the whole site would be dead in the water because let's face it, most threads are re-worded re hashes of the same or similar themes.

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 20/11/2012 12:27

I said it yesterday and I will repeat today.

Bollocks. I'm too (relatively) poor to have morals.

And it's Such Fun.

SoupDragon · 20/11/2012 12:28

Perhaps the government would like to close some of the loopholes that people use to avoid tax. That would be more helpful.

SlightlySuperiorPeasant · 20/11/2012 12:28

Just saying. Because this is a fun thread for people with loose morals :o

WhispersOfWickedness · 20/11/2012 12:31

Yup, we get the message. Now can we get back to shopping?
I have no morals when it comes to obtaining cheap Christmas presents either Blush

mummytime · 20/11/2012 12:31

Mignonette lots of companies are tax dodgers, we need our government or the EU to tighten tax rules (ideally the EU, because whey should Luxembourg be a tax haven). However just as I don't boycott Nestlé over baby milk (other companies do it) or never boycotted Proctor and Gamble (they were all satanists you know) or so on. I'm quite happy to get my fitness gadget I never new I needed for at least 1/2 price.

I did used to boycott South African and Chilian goods back in the day, and try to avoid West Bank settler stuff.

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 20/11/2012 12:31

Better loose morals than bowels.

littlemisstax · 20/11/2012 12:32

very dull, but I've order the nappy bin cartridges. Needed them anyway so that's an extra £6 to spend on me ignoring the fact that our amazon account is linked to DH's credit card I want the Joseph Jospeh chopping boards too so will have to keep watching :)

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 20/11/2012 12:33

11 minutes til the boots.

PrattingAroundTheChristmasTree · 20/11/2012 12:33

Taggie Grin

mignonette · 20/11/2012 12:34

You can do both (protests) you know. Anyway, lovely attitudes on display here Grin

PrattingAroundTheChristmasTree · 20/11/2012 12:34

I didn't want the boots at first. Now I neeeeeeeddd them.

WhispersOfWickedness · 20/11/2012 12:34

Grin Taggie

I nearly missed the opening of the crossword thingy due to this thread, but it didn't have enough knocked off. 70odd% and I would have gone for it, although would probably have missed it at that price!

mignonette · 20/11/2012 12:35

And taggie as for your comment- better to be full of shit than to behave like a piece of it.....Smile

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 20/11/2012 12:37

That is not very nice mignonette. Even with the somewhat passive agressive smile.

Bog off and let me enjoy my boot shopping.

WhispersOfWickedness · 20/11/2012 12:40

Mignonette, I know that you didn't know that we had this yesterday as well, people are just a little irritated at this being brought up again on a thread where we just want to discuss shopping.
There are many crusades to join, we can't follow them all, so those on this thread have obviously decided to follow different ones to you.
Maybe you could start a seperate thread to generate discussion about it if you wish to spread the word?

mignonette · 20/11/2012 12:41

You started it Taggie with your really nice comment. God what a disingenuous comment. Now i will bog off because quite frankly you can dish the shit but you won't take it.

Moral lightweights.

TaggieCampbellBlackFriday · 20/11/2012 12:46

I have immoral boots in my basket.

Should I?
