Just thought I'd better make a list, MN seems like the perfect place to write it all down Grin
I still need;
Jumper & Box Set & tshirt for DH,
Tshirt for DM,
Tights and chocolate Santa/coins/chocolate orange for DD's stocking,
3 bottles of wine (which I'm leaving until the last possible minute as I know I'll drink them otherwise Blush)

What presents have you got left to buy?

rhondajean · 19/11/2012 19:56

£10 amazon voucher
£5 Moshi monsters or Claire's voucher - not sure which yet
My little pony hoodie
A cd dd1 has asked for
Boots for dd2 (from Vertbaudet cheap)
Maltesers and a cd for DH

An iPad cover for work secret Santa

I think that's it!

1stMrsF · 19/11/2012 20:09

I'm mostly done, although not large family here. The bargain Christmas threads have saved me huge amounts of money and given me great ideas. I've cut last years (when DH working and still savings in the bank) budget in half this year (DH out of work and half savings spent) and I've sold stuff on eBay/baby nearly new sale/got cashback for switching energy suppliers etc. and saved it all for Christmas. If a few things I've got listed on eBay sell I'll have made the presents cost neutral, fingers crossed.

ScaredySquirrel · 19/11/2012 20:14

Everything. I get paid on Weds and then I'll be online, lists at the ready.

bedmonster · 19/11/2012 20:55

Pretty much everything bar a few stocking bits i've picked up for the DC. We have a very large family on both sides, 2 sets of parents each, grandparents, DP is one of 6 (this includes step siblings!) and I am one of 4, and we all have DC.
Not remotely panicking though, have been reading lots of threads getting some good ideas for what I need to get and am building up quite a good list now.
Don't officially start my Xmas shopping til after DD's birthday which is coming up though, so I still think there's plenty of time.

Everythingwillbeok · 19/11/2012 21:00

The brave DVD when it's out Monday and a Minnie Mouse easel, then I'm done just need some party clothes for myself to wear over the festive season and that's it.

3bunnies · 19/11/2012 21:04

I need gift for 17 daughter of a friend, game voucher or similar for 19yr old nephew. Few more hamper bits for dh from the children. He has some ideas about what he wants from me anyway, and will probably order it himself.

Done - 3 children, mum, dad, sister, her dh, other nephew, friends, though still need to finish making decorations for teachers etc. Have the materials though so falls more under christmas crafts than shopping.

Dh hasn't bought anything yet!

Doshusallie · 19/11/2012 22:03

Wanted to come back on to this thread to say a huge thank you to OhTheConfusion. Went to Sainsburys today and they had some more of the baby toys on sale, so managed to get one! I wouldn't have even looked if it wasn't for you and that has really helped me (and family!) out! As I put it in the trolley, I turned to DP and said 'and all thanks to a MNer!'.

So thanks OhTheConfusion. Please accept Thanks Wine Brew and Biscuit

bedmonster · 22/11/2012 21:36

Ooh, and was it this thread that said about itunes vouchers in boots? Got one today, a £25 one for £20. (apologies if it wasn't on here, but it's a good offer!)

OhTheConfusion · 22/11/2012 21:37

Well ladies you have both cheered me up, I have had the most horrid day and the fact that you both came back to say thanks for something so small is really kind.

bedmonster · 22/11/2012 21:44

Ah bless you OTC, have some Wine for the crappy day. Cheers!

Everything else is wrapped, labeled and in a big box upstairs apart from the dcs' stuff which is hidden around the house.

OhTheConfusion Aww bless you. Wine, there have some more! You're more than welcome. It may seem like a small thing, but it honestly does mean a lot when you're watching the purse strings! Hope tomorrow is a much better day for you xx Smile

I feel much much better now. I bought pretty much everything online last night. A few niggly bits left, I have to make my Christmas cake&mince pies tomorrow and i'm attempting eggnog for the first time to see if we like it and if so will make more nearer Christmas. But yes pretty much done with no money left.
