Christmas tree?

Hi, so I'm after a new Christmas tree. 7ft with the snowy effect. Seen them in homebase for £100 but was hoping to get it cheaper if anyone has seen any x

Homebase are having a half price event on all Christmas trees at he moment. Presumably this means instore only as their werbsite only showed three trees! Tree lights are cheap too.

Also, online I found this at www.birstall.co.uk. A flocked noble snow covered 6ft artificial tree 88 quid from 110 quid with free UK delivery. I'm afraid the snowy trees are really expensive everywhere, and the 7ft ones are well out of your budget.

Bide your time this year and get one in the sales. Most garden centres do christmas trees and they will want them shifted pronto after christmas.

We paid £100 for a pre-lit tree 4 years ago, in the sales it was £18.

Girlywhirley, thanks. It was homebase I found the tree I wanted, it was £200 down to £100 and was the snowy effect & was 7ft x

If you are prepared to wait, Fluffy's suggestion is best. Garden centre Christmas trees are usually so much better quality.

Was looking through a magazine last night and spotted an article mentioning an over 7ft snowy tree in Asda, with lights, but I can't comment on how it looks having not seen one!

Thank. Yes I think we're going to wait. It's DS2"s 1st birthday today and he just got one of those push along walker things so if he's walking come Christmas I don't really want to spend £100 out on a new tree for it to be bare Christmas Day x
