Christmas Eve Hamper - have I forgotten anything?

I'm planning on starting a hamper for the DDs (3.9, 1.9 and DD3 due in 2 weeks) this year for Christmas Eve. I have/planning on getting the following. Have I forgotten anything?

PJs
Personalised Face Cloths
Bubble bath or bath bomb
Maybe a couple of bath toys - which have been put aside for stocking
Cadburys animal biscuits or chocolates
Letter from FC - although not sure if I should do this earlier in the month?

Christmas DVD/Book - I'm planning on giving these earlier in the month to make more use out of them.

Any other suggestions, don't want to go too mad/create a 2nd stocking (which is already rammed for Christmas morning :))

My copy of The Pajama Elves arrived the other day. Lovely, short and simple and can be kept for years to come.

It is going to arrive on Christmas eve with the magic pajamas obviously.

I've also added one of those magic Santa key things as DS is very literal and will be wondering how the big man will get in.

Oh and this year they will have one of these popcorn holders each and some strawberry and cream Joe and Seph's popcorn.

I love Christmas Eve, me Grin

Wow, all those fab hot choc flavours on the Whittards site: have never had a christmas eve hamper but think we might start, just to justify buying several of these!! Thanks winegless

(obviously will need to buy several to get the '10% off over £20 spend' discount Wink)

I get melamine Xmas plates and beakers for the ds's from Paperchase - a good alternative to mugs for younger children.

I'm making my first Xmas Eve hamper this year. Am v excited Grin

Now I like that idea- off to peruse the Paperchase website.
I could be some time.....

Oh Auscreema that book looks good. Is it a good read? I've already got a night before Christmas so it would be nice to have a new book for the christmas eve hamper.

Think I might need to investigate the paperchase website now.

never heard of doing a hamper for DCs (only for their grandparents - totally different type of hamper!)

fuzzpig · 29/10/2012 11:50

We haven't done an actual hamper but last year we did jammies (not Xmas ones - just nice character ones) and a tree dec each, and a night before Xmas book.

This year we are adding snowman soup, an Xmas DVD and possibly the cuddlies we got them (so they can cuddle up with them watching the movie and take them to bed that night). I might put in some more grown up stuff like something boozy (we rarely drink) and White Christmas DVD for DH and I to enjoy once the DCs are in bed.

We do it on Xmas eve, I wouldn't do it on 1st dec as I feel that's way too early and my birthday is on the 7th :o

However we are also going to start a DVD hamper of non-Xmas DVDs, maybe on the last day of school, with lots of nice snuggly family movies to watch over the holidays.
