What are you all getting your teenage girls this year?

Not phones, i pods etc as they each have a phone and shuffle already.

Will get them new PJs, knickers, toiletries etc too but otherwise am a bit stumped!

A kindle. DD got one last year (I was a bit unsure!), and she loves it. Reads an awful lot more than she used to!

Boots have a great make up mirror, with a magnified mirror on one side and normal on the other. It has a light as well. Was £50 now down to £20, I have bought these for my nieces as always find it difficult to buy for them on a budget.

DD1 (14) books, real and iBooks. Hand bag- must be big enough to fit a large paperback.
DVDs (torch wood last birthday), she'd like hunger games and game of thrones (I don't want younger sister watching these)

DD2 (11) clothes, shoes, music, nasty glitter teen books.

Both like night clothes, silly socks with favourite animals on, DD2 wants hat and gloves like this. She also collects blue nose toys.

DD1 likes pretty vest tops and fun bras.

Oh and both like posh Swiss chocolate, nice smellies and DD2 is after nail art.

Both will get hobby related bits.
DD2 a new leotard and DD1 something outdoorsy

DD2 tells me that she wants an amp!

My 14 year old doesn't know what she really wants, argh.

I'm going to get her this travel diary though, I think she'd like that. www.amazon.co.uk/Compact-Journal-Magnetic-Notebook-Journals/dp/1593594283/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1351196808&sr=8-1

How about a goodie hamper, did one for DD last year had things like popping candy chocolate spread (sainsburys), hot chocolate, marshmallows, jelly beans, angel delight ! and other bits a pieces that I saw while out food shopping-stuff that I wouldn't normally get.

I have step cousins who are 15 and 13, have lots of tech, are into scouting (camping and boating) and kinda have all they need. Not particularly girly either, more outdoorsy (and their Dad would FREAK at makeup etc). Without spending a fortune (was thinking about ?20 each), any ideas for those?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 26/10/2012 13:42

Biddy - how about some welly warmers? Or maybe some nice cleanser (Clarins or Dermalogica maybe) or shampoo (Tony and Guy?). Or a campfire kit - hot choc, marshmallows, pasta and pesto, hotdog sausages, barbecue sauce etc? Or is that too daft? :)

RLBG, that sounds interesting actually. Some wellie warmers along with campfire foods could work well!!

TheOriginalNutcracker · 26/10/2012 13:55

Make-up, perfume, fluffy socks, ear phones, temp tattoos, mug, calendar, choc, dvd's.

Their main pressies are netbooks.
