Homemade presents (from dc) ideas needed please

Every year the dc make homemade gifts for family, but am having a blank at the mo, and can't think what to do. Just wondered what others are doing.

bookmarks are great - drawn/coloured in - or now my girls are a bit older we do ribbon ones with crimped end and beads attached, they even made a Christmas pudding and a Christmas tree bead from Fimo for the end...

For a cheaper version of Beamur's suggestion, you can get or make blank bags and then get photo transfer paper, scan the picture, print it and iron onto the bag.
