Anyone done breakfast/lunch/dinner/whatever with Father Christmas at Hamleys?

I was planning to take Ds1 to meet Father Christmas at Selfridges this year, having failed to book it in time last year, but Selfridges isn't doing a grotto this year. Boo.

Hamleys however is doing a one hour meal for up to 15 children at a time with Father Christmas (although FC himself doesn't eat - I am cracked up that they feel they have to say this in advance) but its £45. An adult can go in with each child. Its for children 4-11.

Trying to work out if it would be worth it.

Has anyone done it before please?

Blumming heck, that's expensive!

My dads mate dresses up on Christmas eve and pops round for a whiskey. Much cheaper!! Grin
