DD1 has put one of these of her christmas list. Has anyone got them and could tell me if they stand up on their own? If no is there a similar doll that does?

No they dont stand up on their own. My dd (8) loves her 2 and wants another for christmas.

sunnyday123 · 21/10/2012 10:37

They don't stand on their own but they are fab! The little accessories and clothes come individually wrapped in boxes with tissue paper- so cute! My dds aged 5 and 7 are obsessed with them having got them recently. The doll comes with a charm bracelet to fit your child and then each outfit comes with a charm to add to it.

On eBay you can order school uniform outfits for the dolls in yours child's school colours! Inc book bag! I just know my dds a going to be over the moon with those on Xmas day!

They don't, but they are really lovely.

VladIIIDracula · 21/10/2012 10:38

No I don't think they stand on their own. They are lovely for the price though.

I think dolls of this size that stand on their own tend to be much more expensive like american girl dolls.

peachypips · 21/10/2012 10:42

It's a moments like this I wish I had a girl!

peachypips · 21/10/2012 10:43

And before I get flamed- my boys hate dolls!

ZeldaUpNorth · 21/10/2012 11:38

Oh that school uniform is cool! Shame its a bit out of my price range :(

KatyMac · 21/10/2012 11:43

& look they do a coffin Wink

ZeldaUpNorth · 21/10/2012 16:44

Haha dd's just showed me that in the argos gift book and i said it looks like a coffin and she said, thats what i thought. (shes 8)

scrappydappydoo · 21/10/2012 19:15

Thanks - think I might go for it anyway. I guess I was thinking something similar to the american girl dolls but I think this is probably what she wants. Its the whole 'me buying traditional wooden toys for a toddler when all they want is plastic tat' again but this time with dolls
LOL at the 'coffin' that's just weird.

ja9 · 22/10/2012 13:46

Oooh...wonder if Dd (aged 5) would like one of these...Think she might. Thanks for educating me MN!

ENormaSnob · 22/10/2012 14:20
