For those looking for wooden fruit and veg, we have the Melissa and Doug ones and I can't recommend them enough. No chipping, beautifully painted and things like the ice cream cones and the cupcake set are really, really clever too. DD got loads last year when MIL went a bit overboard and they all still look like new despite being well played with.

What Peso item were you after? I picked up a soft toy Peso that DD always wants to touch when in store but decided against it.

Just want to warn people about tesco direct. I placed an order 5 days ago for a furby, peppa play set and a doll, and used the £10 off voucher. The order went through fine and about an hour later I received an email saying the furby was out of stock. They had already charged my debit card so I had to wait 3-5 days for the refund. I rang to cancel the whole order and was told it was defiantly cancelled.

The next day i received an email saying the peppa set and doll had been dispatched! I rang to complain and was told it was a mistake and the refund was being processed.

Rang again today and they haven't even cancelled the order!! I now have to wait 5 days for the items to be returned and then a further 3-5 days to be refunded!!

I am beyond angry, tesco have £76 of my money!!! Grr

I did really well at Sainsburys with half price wooden baby toys.

They have champagne reduced from £24 to £12 so I used nectar points to get a bottle for DH's godparents.

Sainsburys had lego minifigures series 7 and 8 for 1.37, series 8 didn't have shelf label but they were a third off, and various small lego boxes, including some lego friends with 1/3 off. Also got an imaginex batman + batmobile for 18.75, not a great reduction but will have to do for ds as dh says 60 is too much for the lego monster castle :(

Reastie that hand cream is fabulous isn't it, I had a freebie last year from a mag. I'm a bit of a handcream junky, usually got at least half a dozen tubes on the go at any one time and that is one of the best.
