From previous threads I gather moon dough/sand, aqua beads and bendaroos are firmly on the Avoid Like The Plague list :o

I'm getting some Hama beads and Shrinkles for me my DCs but would love some recommendations for other kits, and maybe this will be a useful thread for many MNers this Xmas :)

I have never ever seen a hobbeycraft (am in London). Are they highstreet or retail park or shopping centre or where?

fuzzpig · 06/10/2012 19:38

Retail park :)

Have to looked at Gelarti. My ds is desperate for one so have managed to find a Moshi Monster one. Reviews look quite good.

wildpoppy there is one in watford and one in croydon, probably more around London. They are great due to the sheer extent of their prooduct line, however except with vouchers/ clearance I find them a bit pricey, but maybe that is just my lack of self control! You can order online, but I imagine that lots of their stuff is maybe cheaper elsewhere online.

Gelarti is great and so are the sticky mosaic kits in Argos, 2 for £15 at the minute as well.

There's still a Hobbycraft in Nottingham, it's at the Lady Bay Retail Park, also The Range is there as well which sells lots of crafty type things.

Love Yellow Moon craft kits. Galt kits are usually good value too. The sticky sparkly mosaic kits from Melissa and Doug are also fab. I like all the M&D stuff. Like Paintastics too. Painting but less mess!
