My DH's birthday is in November so I tend to use up the good ideas for his birthday then I'm stumped for christmas!

For his birthday I have booked for us and 4 friends to go to Alton Towers (which he loves but hasn't been for years!) in the day, and see the Fireworks display in the evening, then stay in the hotel and go to the water park the next day. This is a complete surprise which I can't wait to tell him about!

That is his main present but will probably get him a PS3 game he wants that is out near his birthday & make him a little hamper of treat food and drink etc that he loves and will make his favourite (apple & cinnamon) cake & add candles as he doesn't like normal birthday cake!

Any other ideas or suggestions what you are getting DH's?

It's a bit complicated I think sandy because he ha a contract with Vodafone so will need his entire contract transferred - but I think I will pop into the shop and ask if he can do it remotely, I hadnt thought of it as a possibility but I will check it out so thank you very much!

Dh also has a November birthday!
I have no good ideas, but bits and pieces I am going to get him are Coen brothers boxset, a wok (ds wants to give him this), guitar strap (dd wants to give him this), Chaim Potok book, River Cottage Veg book.
Nothing exciting. These are our idea for birthday and Christmas, so I really need to get thinking!

Black Grill Stones that go in the oven and you cook meat at the table on. They have them at one of our favourite restaurants but baby DS means we don't get to go very often now. He'll love them.

Now if only I can get a cocktail waiter and fusion chef for the house...
