Whats top on your dcs Xmas list this year and will they be gettng it?

OP posts:
EsmeWeatherwax · 02/10/2012 19:03

DD1 (5) wants Barbie everything.
DD2 (3) wants Fireman Sam everything. They both want the babydolls from Smyths that are advertised on tv.
And huggle buddies hideaways.

DS is 8mo and has not made any preferences known. I suspect he will be recieving lots of happyland/elc/ikea wooden toys.

We'll see.

WeAllHaveWings · 02/10/2012 19:44

the top of ds(8) list is 100 booster packs of Pokemon cards

found 36 packs for £75 on ebay, so that would be more than £200 for 100

he would be over the moon if he got them

he has no chance!

WeAllHaveWings · 02/10/2012 19:45

Confused how did ebay become a link without me doing anything?

FannyBazaar · 02/10/2012 23:55

My DS (7) wants an iPhone with every Angry Birds game there is on it.

I suggested he change his mind sharpish as I suspect Santa doesn't bother to bring a single thing to any 7 year olds who ask for iPhones!

mobileadam · 04/10/2012 13:55

My DS has no idea. We don't watch TV with adverts so I need other ways to influence him. I've been mentioning how great it would be to have the main present that we've already purchased..

kate2boysandabump · 04/10/2012 14:09

DS1 (9) - has no idea what he wants, which makes 2 of us Confused

DS2 (7) - wants Skylanders Giants and assorted Skylanders paraphenalia, which he is getting
.
DS3 (due 15th Dec) - if he's appeared by then, I suspect he'll be happy with breast milk, a clean bottom and cuddles Smile

notso · 04/10/2012 14:13

DD 12 wants IPad/laptop but knows she has no chance so is settling for kindle touch and Hollister perfume.

DS1 8 don't know yet, probably Lego but he still has to finish the Death Star, he has hinted at PSP or Xbox but I am Hmm

DS2 22 months too young to ask but have got him the ELC wooden post box he hogs likes to play with at toddlers and happyland. He will be getting a trike for his b'day two weeks before Christmas.

DS3 6 months a wooden activity cube and possibly tripp trapp highchair.

fuzzpig · 04/10/2012 16:09

DS is 3 but has a big speech delay and has no concept of asking for presents. Not entirely sure yet but he's easy to buy for as he likes pretty much everything! One of his favourite words is "wowee" when he sees something new :)

DD is 5 and hasn't really asked for anything particular, she sees lots of girly things she likes on adverts, so we got her a barbie ultimate closet (ugh but she will love it)

They haven't asked for it and probably don't even know it exists, but they are getting a playmobil castle as their main present. DH and I can't wait to play with it

jenk1 · 04/10/2012 17:39

DS (16) wants the new Man Utd Away shirt and clothes/trainers etc

DD(8) wants the lalaloopsy fun park and roller boots/moshi monster stuff

MegBusset · 04/10/2012 19:32

DS1 (5) wants a monster book, some Top Trumps, a toy gun (sigh) and "a plant card". He will get them all, well I have interpreted "plant card" as a book about plants, and the gun will be the smallest, least offensive version I can find!

DS2 (3) will be happy with anything as long as it's EXACTLY the same as what DS1 has!

Sonotkylie · 05/10/2012 22:09

DS (6) wants 1 cat, 2 chickens, 3 guinea pigs and a monkey.

Just no.

maybe the cat as we currently have mice trouble but 'Santa doesn't do livestock' ...

olibeansmummy · 05/10/2012 22:24

Ds (3) wants a Jessie doll ( got buzz and woody last Christmas) and a Lego aeroplane.

DesperatelySeekingSedatives · 06/10/2012 09:33

DS is one and will be getting what he's given and (hopefully!) love it. This includes the happyland trainset (bought when it was £19 instead of 40), the elc rocket which was £15 when I got it back in July and a ride and push along Mickey Mouse car which was the free toy in the Argos 3for2 earlier this week.

DD aged 5 wants an ice cream maker. A proper one. That's it. I think I can stretch to that as they're about £30. She's also getting some Sylvanian Families including the otter family to add to her army, the canal barge and and the ice cream van (she is obsessed with ice cream!)

DeadQODy · 06/10/2012 10:10

Older style galaxy note on contract (weirdly only £8 a month more than her current sim only contract)

Birthday week before too ....

iWILLdothis · 06/10/2012 15:45

Dd (3yo) wants & is getting a bike.
Ds (almost 1) ummmmm..... Might get fresh playdough, extra duplo blocks and next size up vests& socks

laurenamium · 07/10/2012 12:37

DD will be 2 and is getting a wooden play kitchen with wooden kitchen accessories from jojomamanbebe I love it and some of the add on accessories! It's her birthday the week before and she is getting a ride on push along tractor and trailer Grin I love birthdays and Christmases!

IWantAnotherBaby · 07/10/2012 12:55

DS (9) wants an iPod touch and will probably be getting it. He also wants Skylanders giants stuff and Spongebob Lego, which we'll get on behalf of grandparents (I do most of their Christmas shopping - a whole other thread...), and a remote control monster truck (maybe)

DD (4) also wants an iPod touch (less likely although quite seriously considering it as her cheapo-and-quite-crap MP3 player is one of her favourite things and she looks after it brilliantly) a baby born doll that does real wees (yes), Lego friends sets (yes from GPs), a rocking crib for a baby doll (yes from GPs), and clothes for her Corolle doll (yes - I'm in for a couple of happy months of evenings sewing these). She has a birthday just before Christmas as well, so she has an enormous list of wishes.

TaperJeanGirl · 07/10/2012 13:21

Dd1 (7) wants an ipad, furby, lego, drumkit, a sword (real), a puppy (real)
Dd2 (5) wants an ipad, furby, hello kitty anything, stuff for her scooter
Ds (3) wants an ipad, anything batman/spiderman/diggers/wheels
Dd3 (1) would like a doll

The elder 3 will be getting an ipad to share, I have the evil furbys sitting hidden on a shelf, some lego, ds has a few superhero bits, baby dd has a cabbage patch kid and a barking puppy, she will also be getting a mini micro scooter with baby seat so she can join the older ones in scooter related injuries, other stuff I will just get as I go along/see things on offer, over my dead body will dd1 get a sword, drumkit, or puppy Grin

BellaVita · 07/10/2012 13:25

Ds1 (15) wants a bass guitar

Ds2 (13) wants a laptop to replace his old netbook

They both always get what they ask for

LilQueenie · 07/10/2012 13:30

well DD is 15 months at the moment so probably be happy with a box but I may get the "bad parent for spoiling your child" award. So far we have a large amount of happyland stuff bought earlier in the sales, minnie mouse remote control car, crayola kits, duplo blocks, mickey camera, toaster toy, 2 massive ducks, some board books, jigsaws, sesame st toys and figures, sesame st microphone plus ernie doll to go with the interactive sesame st toys for her birthday earlier in the year. She will get tons from my mum too. I also want to get her a small trampoline and a few little bits and peices.

FreakoidOrganisoid · 07/10/2012 13:40

DS (4) wants scalectrix and a henry hoover Hmm

DD hasn't given me any suggestions yet but I know she loved her friend's lego friends stuff and lego is one of the few toys I don't regard as pointless house filling tat Blush so she'll probably get some of that.

CiderwithBuda · 07/10/2012 15:25

Weell DS is 11 and hasn't asked for anytng yet! Not doing letter to Santa till November apparently!

I don't think there will be anything big on it. He has most things. May get him tickets to an Arsenal game. He loves Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and got tickets to see him last Christmas. I have bought him some Tom Petty DVDs and a book. Also got him a cheap Wii game. His list will probably consist of non-age appropriate Playstation games which he won't be getting.

I can't justify any more Lego as we have tonnes!

And family will all ask for ideas for him too. Best get thinking!

letseatgrandma · 07/10/2012 21:05

Furbies?? Are these the originals or have they released new and improved (and overpriced) versions!?

Coprolite · 07/10/2012 21:07

Moshi monsters.

Mintyy · 07/10/2012 21:07

My dc haven't asked for anything at all ... it is early October.
