hi, not been looking but my DD has been given lovely hot water bottles from Next in the past - worth checking there when they get their Christmas stuff in. She's also had microwave-heatable soft toys, not sure what they were called - hotties or something maybe? Might be an alternative?

I've just bought a new one today from Matalan. It has a knitted lilac cover (also had cream and mocha/brown). I'm going to sew on some ribbon and sequins to jazz it up, but it is actually quite nice as it is. Only £6.
