Thought this might be of some interest to any North East mumsnetters. Just booked & think it looks gorgeous. If anyone wants to book, don't use an iPad or presumably iphone as it says none of the dates are available. You need to use a normal computer or try phonining.

We did this 2 years ago when we had really really bad snow. It was amazing. Everywhere was covered in snow and ice. It made it even more magical. Ds was 3 and was convinced we were in the north pole even tho it only took a 15 minute drive from our house to get there! He's 5 now and is still convinced he's been to the north pole!

Actually it was the Tanfield railway one that we did not the Weardale one.
