I love the idea of the Christmas Eve hamper and have found lots of lovely ideas on mn of what to put in. The Q: do I make up one hamper for the family with individually wrapped and named items, or should each of us have our own little hamper - hamper is wrapped but presents inside are not. What does every body else do? What works best for your family? I'm thinking of the shared hamper as we'll have some shared gifts (the obligatory Christmas DVD etc). I'm overthinking this arn't I....Blush

I think it's just fancy hot chocolate, could do white hot hocolate I guess? I think you can get edible glitter!

I usually do pjs for my two boys (8&6) this will be our first year at home with DP and DS3 (arriving in Nov) so I'm planning on doing a family hamper with pjs, film, mince pies/popcorn and hot choc. Can't wait!

This is bloody brilliant! We're flying to UK for Christmas from USA, might get it sorted for all of us staying with my folks and turn it into our family tradition .... So you generally put festive pjs/lounge wear, hot choc/wine (though like the hot vanilla milk with marshmallows idea). Bath stuff, DVD for whole family, note from FC sounds cool, we already do "night before Christmas" before bed, though DC usually have 3books at bedtime so could get them a new one each in addition, and named baubles for the tree, genius!

This is brilliant!!
