Scary School Holiday Dates

Just doing my Calendar for the next three/four months and realised the school holidays officially start on christmas eve this year. How crazy is that? Not quite sure how I am going to get Christmas organised this year without the week before hand to get ready.

I doubt your school is going to be dragging the kids and teachers in on Monday 24th... Think there's some mistake there somewhere.
21st is end of term

Ours is 21st too - it is going to be a complete pain - that last week is always hugely busy with nativity plays, Xmas Fair, special assembly etc - plus getting the house ready for our guests and getting food/presents etc sorted - a week earlier would be great!!

We had extra inset days last year tagged onto the start of the break - an absolute godsend since they couldn't just slot something else into the school calendar that week!
