Does anyone know where I could get something like this but maybe at less of the price?

And I know I'm being picky but shatterproof would be ideal too Grin

And please convince me that I want my tree to look more like this and not like a tin of quality street

Wow, they are lovely. But I agree very expensive.

I quite like the quality street one, wasn't that the "in colour" for the past two years. I also like the others.

Mine has been blue and silver for a few years now and I would love a complete change and lots more decarations for all the rooms in my house. My house was small and horrible last year.

Hmmm I quite like the Quality street look Blush.

I don't have any links. But after extensive research in catalogues, these sets can be reproduced with shopping around. Of that set of 100, 60 or so will be plain baubles, some glossy some frosted. You can get boxes of these in asda, ikea all over for a couple of pounds. Then there will 20 moderatley decorative baubles and 15 lovely baubles. the last few will be statement pieces.

So you can recreate the look for not much money if you break it down into these sections. I have a good stock of basics now and every year I add something new. The basis of my colour scheme is traditional red and green, but I have some that are cream/gold and some purple and they all add to the effect.

Biggest trick is to get the expensive baubles in the sale after Christmas. Also use wired ribbon instead of tinsel.

We have a little card shop not far from here that opens up as a Christmas secs shop each year. Its very reasonable.

Have you looked on Studio? They are usually reasonable.

Thanks for the tips, my colour scheme has been pink and blue for about 5 years but I want something more Christmassy and between ds and the cat the old decorations are looking worse for wear.

I'll check out Studio and keep an eye on ikea and asda etc.
