Can anyone remember when their 1/2 price toy sale usually is?

No it's later, usually th start of December I think.

Yep its in end nov/start dec some when, i think.

It was 27 Oct last year (important birthday in our family, that's why I remember), but I also remember it being half term and everyone moaning that it was the one week when they couldn't go without taking the DCs with them.

October half term is right

So not that far away. Can you buy online? I have a fair bit of nectar points that I could use.

I think you can but you have to be quick.

I tried last year and hardly anything was left.

Thanks all, I thought it was earlier than said previously.

I got quite a lot online last year but I did get it all at midnight and there wasnt THAT much tbh, most of what I got was baby toys for dd so I wasnt as selective as I would have been for ds for example.

Also we got what I thought were Thomas bargains but which we're significantly cheaper online. The big ticket playmobil and other items were good value but be careful about the little stuff. Go prepared!

I remember it well.....definitely half term but I went at about 7am, thinking no other bugger would be there - WRONG!

Having said that still managed to get loads of fab bargains.

I heard about it on here, do they advertise it on tv as I don't remember seeing any adverts.

theres always one in Oct, then often another in Nov/Dec

Don't remember adverts but there were little notices about it by the tills in our branch last year.

Re the Playmobil, I bought a big Dinosaur set there last year but returned it when I got home and realised that despite the masdive box and it still being £50 it only had 36 bits, I remember being on a thread about it, others were also returning it.
