Was in Toys R Us today and they had Melissa & Doug Nativity Set for £9.99 rather than £20 on Amazon. It looks really chunky and solid, good for playing with so I got it for 3yo DD.

Oh that's cute. Do they have a lot of Melissa & Doug stuff in Toys R Us?

I have a Playmobil Nativity put away in the cupboard to bring out during Advent, but I'm beginning to have second thoughts about it.

I think the toddler might find all the small pieces a bit too hard to resist, and we'll be left with just a camel by the new year. Grin

They had a few sets - beads, stampers etc, but not many toys.

I saw this the other day, thought I would see how much it was on Amazon, and when I saw how much it was there legged it back to Toys R Us before they noticed and put the price up!

Playmobil gives me panic attacks! I just know DD will have the million tiny pieces spread across the house within two minutes of opening it! I was actually looking at the Playmobil ones and chickened out for another year when I saw this one. It looks indestructible!

We have the little people nativity set, I would like to find a more grown up one if anyone has any recommendations?
