First and main present for dd1 purchased and hidden, very pleased with myself!

Food, I've already bought most presents and I'm onto the toothbrush/bubble bath stuff now. Argos just had their summer clearance so I stocked up then. I had given my DS's an Argos catalogue each and left them to circle the stuff they liked. Gave me a good idea of what to look out for.

Slinky, I'm only making a few things. Travel roads for kids, which is black felt cut into straights and arcs with white lines sewn onto it for the road markings. Will make a drawstring bag and add lots of wee cars. I saw this idea on MN last year but had forgotten about it til now! Also making skittles vodka, yum.

Anyone got any more making ideas I can steal?

I've never made anything for Xmas but I'd really like to make some nice foody bits - truffles perhaps. Also I keep meaning to make 'stained glass biscuits' where you cut a hole in the biscuit shape and pop a boiled sweet in the gap - during baking apparently it melts and sets like a window! I am really crap at getting round to doing stuff like that though.

Got converse extra high tops today. £25 per pair. Twins presents sorted!

Found this tutorial which seems easy enough. I did buy a couple of big bags of skittles ready to do this but they have mysteriously disappeared. [innocent emoticon]
