Boxes, Bags & Other Wrapping

Does anyone know where I can get cake boxes to store/wrap/gift Christmas puddings? All the cake boxes I find are, well, cake sized and swamp a Christmas pudding. Gift bags don't have wide enough gussets.

Also, any suggestions on where I can find small-ish plain gift bags (like, couple of inches)?

Thanks!

Log onto my absolute favourite - QVC (qvcuk.com)

Then enter Lindy Bowman into search.

Lovely boxes and bags.
Some might be out of stock but there will be more neaerer Christmas.

I bought bags with little lights on them (not in stock now) and I used them for the DC stocking gfts for the last 3 years.

And Homesense -like TKMaxx but only homewear- do lovely boxes . But if you want Christmas ones, look about end October/ November. They have stuff very early.

Or what about HobbyCraft for food quality cellophane. Cut from the roll and tie with ribbon.

Thanks, I'll check those out 70.

I've tried cellophane but because I wrap them in parchment paper then foil (to keep them fresh since I make them in September/October) they don't seem to look quite right to me. Maybe I had better foil wrapping skills. I shall practice!

The boxes/bags don't need to be Christmasy. I had some left over Hotel Chocolat Easter Egg boxes (the ones with the black bottoms and white w/logo tops) that I used -- I wrapped the top in a silver Christmas paper and left the bottom black and put the puddings in them (padded with a few polystyrene peanuts) and they looked gorgeous.
