I love this part of the year, and think it's a shame that us Brits don't do the "Christmas in July" things that you find in other parts of the world. All I've seen along those lines are trade shows and QVC specials. I find the idea of a Summer Grotto rather cute - a small dash of Christmas in the middle of a long dry spell away from anything remotely tinsel-related.
