Playmobil help!

Ds got the playmobil campervan for Christmas. We set it up at my mum's and dh suggested to put all the tiny accessories together in a bag so they didn't get lost. Only trouble is when he was carrying the box to the car with other stuff, the wind blew it away and although he collected all the useless papers, the whole bag of accessories are missing :,( is there any way I can order new ones or something? It's such a shame as he plays so nicely with little toys.

yes you can probably get accessories from the playmobil website.

liveinazoo · 27/12/2011 19:15

you could try the playmobile website....we had a similiar prob with fischer price and they were able to help.we love playmobile in my house.had loads.is the campervan good?

TheAnnoyingSatsuma · 27/12/2011 19:16

Give playmobil a ring, they can supply replacement parts.

TheAnnoyingSatsuma · 27/12/2011 19:18

here you go

MrsHeffley · 27/12/2011 19:22

To be honest it's hellish expensive,I think you pay German postage and each part is pricey.I rang re one part and was Shock. You'll probably be better off buying a new one and e-baying the old.

Ring to check though as it was 2 years ago.

TheAnnoyingSatsuma · 27/12/2011 19:31

IIRC when I ordered a spare part it was free or peanuts and I paid UK potage. Worth giving them a ring.

olibeansmummy · 27/12/2011 20:01

Thanks that's great I'll give them a ring in the morning :) hope they'll help :)

Yes it's fab! Full of little details like a shower and toilet ( ds loves that!) it's sort of like a house, but without the price tag and you can drive it around so brill for little boys. Ds plays just as well without the little bits but they will enhance his playing even though he's only 2 1/2. Really want the BBQ dad to go with it but it's over £10 on amazon for 1 figure and a BBQ Confused

I would buy a second one on ebay and just take the accessories as individual parts are likely to cost more than the whole set brand new.
We love playmobil here too.

MrsHeffley · 28/12/2011 11:11

Let us know how you get on as I have a few things that need replacing,if it's cheaper now I'll give them a ring.

liveinazoo · 28/12/2011 12:06

yes.please let us no im inthe same position as mrs heffley!

olibeansmummy · 28/12/2011 18:05

Rang today and was told to email as I need more than 10 things. They said they'd send me a quote. Which sounds ominous! Anyway I'll let you know what they say when they reply Smile

Just to update if anyone's still around. Playmobil still haven't responded to my e-mail Angry on the plus side though Dss found the bag in our neighbours front yard. Tbh I think my parents were too polite to go snooping in next doors yard and hadn't looked properly!

Are all the parts in the bag? If not, I would still phone Playmobil customer services to obtain the others. The parts are usually inexpensive, and if you now need fewer than 10 you can sort it out with a phone call.

olibeansmummy · 04/01/2012 21:54

Yep they're all there. We sellotaped the bag to keep all the little bits safe lol. Ds loves it even more now, although I had to spend the other night fashioning tiny blankets for the beds as he didn't want them to get cold!

Well, that's lovely to hear! If you ever need more than 10 parts in the future, I have ordered stuff by writing a letter to the customer services. It took a little while, but the parts did arrive! Xmas Smile
