Would be tempted but might move before then.

2kidsintow · 27/12/2011 20:33

Tesco was rubbish....nothing reduced at all in the store I went to today. Fancy a trip to Sainsbury's now though, they had stocking filler type toys my DD might like and her birthday is in Feb.

molepomandmistletoe · 27/12/2011 20:40

Yep Grin

I really, really need a storage chest or chest of drawers to go in the cupboard under the stairs for the decorations though and a ladder for the loft, and some loft floor boards. Hmmm.....

(I may just actually make one at college as part of my assignment)

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 27/12/2011 20:54

2kidsintow our sainsburys has all the chrismas gifts half price saw some hello kitty things reduced

10 rolls of paper for £1 in Card Warehouse of some such - I got 5 rolls of bright red with Ho Ho Ho on, and SIL got 5 mixed rolls. We were well chuffed Grin

iwantmyrrh · 28/12/2011 00:24

Actually ran out of xmas wrapping paper this year - used up 4 rolls so have restocked for next year - 5 rolls from Sainsbury for 59p each. Bought plain metallic red, silver and gold so can use for birthday wrapping too.

iwantmyrrh · 28/12/2011 00:31

Lakeland is worth a visit - I found my annual Xmas sale dec - a large silver heart wreath there which I'm very pleased with. (I've been buying one expensive discounted Xmas decoration in the sales every year for the last 12 yrs and now have an attractive but eclectic collection!)

pranma · 28/12/2011 16:12

Anyone got a source for cheap crackers suitable for small dgc?It is our wedding anniversary tomorrow and dd is bringing boys[2 and 5] for 'party' tea.

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 28/12/2011 16:26

what about buying nice crackers, sainsburys had some lovely silver ones (70% off), and undo one end and put some sweets or small toy of your own inside and then redo up the end

DH had noticed that we had run out of tealights.
Sptted some frankinsece & myrhh ones in Sainsburys at 90% off.
45p instead of £4.50 for a box of 24. got 2 boxes. What a bargain!

Funtimewincies · 28/12/2011 19:23

Just an idea, but if you record on the thread where you've safely stored presents for next year, you'll be able find them again Xmas Grin!

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 28/12/2011 23:19

Grin good idea, still missing book and stocking fillers, have not got a clue where they are

I was buying things for Christmas 2012 even before Christmas 2011 happened. So glad I'm not alone! Xmas Grin

TeaOneSugar · 29/12/2011 13:29

I ordered my christmas shopping vouchers for 2012 in November, my second payment goes out on the 1st Jan, so you're not alone in the long term planning game Xmas Grin.

molepomandmistletoe · 29/12/2011 13:42

Tea, where do you go for the vouchers? I would like to start paying for them as well.

TeaOneSugar · 29/12/2011 14:13

Park

They do the Love2Shop ones you can spend in lots of shops, Boots, Argos, BHS, debenhams, House of fraser, Wilkinsons, ELC etc. and specific ones for other shops like M&S.
