Stupid leap-year, one extra day!

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. We enjoyed it thoroughly, just the three of us. DS is a very lucky, happy boy. He adores his scooter, best present ever! Off to Smyths later to spend some of his Christmas money on Duplo (he asked for it). Xmas Grin

Sorry ladies, am a bit bleurgh at the moment. How is everyone? Christmas stuff is packed away for now. I didn't want to, but I had to make room for the big box filled with Duplo.

Has anyone seen MrsChristmas?

I'm trying to fight a cold that's been brewing but other than that we're ok thanks Mama.

I'm thinking of taking the decs down but I cant until I buy something to put them all in (had to start from scratch this year because everything we did have was ruined by a leaky shed and all the snow).

DS hasnt had a meltdown for a few days now so that's a massive improvement and has made the household a little more peaceful. DD had a temper tantrum last night but that was more hormones than anything and is cheerful and playful today. So all good here, thank you for asking.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, the countdown to next year begins, but not before we have rung in a New Year !

We have had a lovely time here, everyone thrilled with gifts etc...which is good. I have missed not coming here, it's been sooo busy, my apologies to all, I haven't abandoned you !

Have got food and booze arriving tomorrow, hopefully, so unless I have to go out, I should be here tomorrow afternoon for a while... not going out tomorrow night, just going to get suitably sozzled at home !

Anyone going to join me ?!

I don't know, just bleurgh at this time of the year. It's obviously that Christmas is over but more importantly that I can't wait to see the back of 2011 but I am dreading that 2012 will be even worse Sad

Is anyone doing anything nice tonight? We will play on the wii and then probably go to bed before midnight. Just don't feel like celebrating. Hey ho...

Am thinking of changing my name completely, there are too many mamas around. But will wait till the 12th night too. It has to have pizza in it though Grin

Fed up of all my friends' facebook statuses at the moment. Everyone moaning about going back to work. I wish they'd realise that they should count themselves lucky to receive a paycheck at the end of the month. Keeping my mouth shut, but it is tearing me up inside Envy
