Don't have anyone to play this with as dh wouldn't appreciate.
so far have had FIL make non-PC comment (how DC's makaton knowledge would be useful if they became dumb); making animal noises when no children within earshot; trying to serve up out of date stuff; saying how dh never cried as a baby (whenever ours cry). Dh making comments about how much FC must have spent on stockings (bit less than 30 pounds each) (though he will think nothing of impulse buying stuff for them just because they are shopping). Still to come - comments on what a lovely turkey, so much nicer than normal supermarket ones, compliments to the chef (moi -hopefully), fallling asleep and snoring loudly through a film. More comments on the noise which accompanies the normal excitement of children.
