I'm trying to make my own stuffing this year. I've tried it twice but it just seems really dry. Tonight I made it by frying some onion and butter, then softening a bramley apple. Then mixed in bread crumbs and an egg yolk with some sage, salt and pepper. Then mixed in sausage meat. I added some water, but it is just really dry!
DH suggested adding apple juice, as can't really taste the apple either. Does anyone else know what to suggest??
