Rescuing christmas pudding vodka.

So I had a go at making my own, inspired by talk of much wonderfulness on MN. Maybe it was the early hour, maybe I should have read the recipe more closely, but I've produced something that tastes like a cross between cheap limoncello and washing up liquid .

More sugar didn't help at all.

So, I made a cocktail with 2/3 vodka and 1/3 amaretto. The result, not christmas pudding, but christmas CAKE!

I am definitely going to try this famed Christmas Pudding vodka next year...

DH drank the rest of the shot glass-full I'd made and was definitely wibbly, which is a rare thing indeed
