1st batch of Mince pies ruined, 2nd havent turned out right either, I give up.

I used to make them brilliantly but somewhere along the line I've lost the knack.

Gah.

Go and buy some ready made ones

I have. Will go out and get more tomorrow.

Have you got a different oven? Sometimes that makes tried and tested recipes fail ( bitter experience)

I love my food burnt!! Send them to me!

They're not burnt, just wrong and I dont know why.

Same recipie, same oven, same measuements. The birds will be having them I think.
