I had dvds all sorted, dd1 (nearly 7) gets Tangled, dd2 (nearly 5) gets 3rd Narnia, ds getting wall-e. Dd2 told me she and ds had to give dd1 3rd Narnia for Christmas, mild panic, but decided to get her How to train your dragon as she loved that at kids club. All sold out in town, ordered from play.com, despatched sunday, due to arrive by today, 1st class royal mail. It's not here yet, we go to GP before post on Sat. I know it could come tomorrow, but if not what can I get for her, or dd1 and give her tangled. Dd2 favs are Narnia, she liked mathilda, basically a little bit scary, possibly a little bit naughty but not too violent. Not so much into girly films, hence giving tangled to dd1 who will appreciate it more, at same time not too boyish either. She often says she likes look of pirates of carribean when sees trailers, but not sure how scary/violent it is.

How about horrid Henry?

Pinkx3 · 22/12/2011 12:49

Yogi Bear is great, my two DDs (7&3) love it. Pirates of the Carribean is a little scary I think although my 7 year old DD has seen it and claimed she wasn't scared.

Gnomeo and Juliet?
Smurfs?

Shipwrecked or A Little Princess?

Shipwrecked might be a bit old, but still great.

My little boy (6) loves Nim's Island, it's a fab film! With added bonus of having Gerard Butler in it ;-)

if she's into things a little bit scary, how about The Nightmare Before Christmas - dd1 (4.9) loves it. She watches it all year round btw

Mulan is also great, not too girly and loved by my DS and DD(3).
