Help! Where does inexpensive and ok children's crackers?

I stupidly volunteered to provide some for a children's party tomorrow. (rising 4s) Coop has half-price (£4) ones at the mo but the contents are a bit old for nearly 4 yos. Ideally, these crackers have age-appropriate tat inside and do not cost more than £6 a box of ten. Grin And can be readily obtained from Sainsboro, Tesco or Wilko's, because them's the options for a quick dash today.

Any ideas?

Confused I'm not really that inarticulate, honest. Blush Sorry. The title ought to be something like 'Help! who does inexpensive and ok children's crackers?'

Please? Grin

Sainsburys ones were all half price. I think they still had some of the wind up character ones left - they were #5 for 6; but they did have family ones too.

No idea as to quality, but my local WHSmiths had 70% off all crackers yesterday

The Poundshops and B&M usually have boxes of character ones in. Some of them have 6 and some have 10 or 12 in the box, depending which character they are. They aren't utterly crap, they usually have a sticker and a paper hat in them - we get them for the tree and the DCs pull them quite happily.

I found some at a poundshop in the end. Smile They're pretty rubbish inside but they have a snap and hat and at least they're not going to choke the baby siblings at the party with the contents. Wilco's had some for £5 a box which were nice, but had marbles and so on. All the nearly 4 yos have baby siblings...

The kids ones from Asda were cheap but dire we had them for a kids party on saturday ... The hats are so tiny they didn't fit one child ( age range 6mths to 3yrs) so not sure what 'kids' they were aimed at.

Primark have 12 for £2.
