my f and stepmother want to get a present for dd, these look good but I noticed one of the games you buy for it, Mr Pencil I think it's called is £43 which seems almost the same as the console.

Maybe it's worth it, anyone have some advice?
The amazon feedback doesn't mention the cost of the games.

I have got my ds who is 4.10 one of these for xmas would rather him have this than a ds as its much more educational.
I have purchased the mr pencil game off amazon a couple of months ago for £10.70 and a couple of others that have all been around that price.

I havent opened the explorer yet however my neice has one and she loved it she is also 4 I played on it with her and the game she was playing was dora but it was a number game so helping her with recognising numbers, so i think its a nice idea for a 4 yr old.

you can buy the mr pencil game as an app now for it - plug in and download for £20 - but i got our mr pencil game on amazon for £12!

Really? I paid £12 for mine on Amazon! Only a couple of weeks ago too.
