...we're invited for mince pies/mulled wine with neighbours - should we take wine, or is that a bit much for an afternoon thing? I was going to take some homemade xmas cookies, DH is worried that we'll look mean if we don't bring booze. Now I'm worried he's right...! How sad... help me?!! Wink

We are just about to have our neighbours afternoon do. Yes, take wine and xmas biscuits, am sure both will go down well. Grin

Okay, will take the wine and cookies. I just had the thought that I'd be very happy if someone came along with both, so that's decision made. Might also be the end of writing the christmas cards tonight, I'll possibly be snoozing on the sofa...

i'm taking christmas cut out cookies (Nigella Recipe) as some of the children are fussy ( i.e my DD) about Mince Pies. Last year my friends dad played the piano and we sang carols was lovely - hope you enjoy!!
