Mince pie recipe?

I'm looking for a basic recipe I can do with DSD (4) and DS (2). I'm hopeless and can't find my recipe book!

Do you mean for making the mincemeat and pastry from scratch? I have a very nice, easy, recipe, which I can dig out for you, if that's what you're after.

I've brought mincemeat but I'll make the pastry from scratch as I forgot to put ready made on the tesco order

this recipe is really good

I add a small bit of beaten egg to the pastry as well
